We would like to introduce you to Sinai Family Home Services, a licensed Home Care Agency in Portland.

Sinai Family Home Services (SFHS) was created as a joint venture by Cedar Sinai Park and Jewish Family & Child Service of Portland.  Our non-profit business fills a niche in care for seniors who want to remain in their own homes while receiving the care and companionship they may need, allowing them to age in place.

SFHS recognizes and honors the value of elders for their wisdom, cultural background and unique personal history.  Our exceptional in-home service program, founded on Jewish values, offers support to both clients and their families.  We serve those who need a helping hand in Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties.

SFHS offers three levels of care that are available around the clock, seven days a week.  Our services are based on the needs of the elder and include Homemaker/Companion Care, Personal Care and Complex Care.  Assessments and personalized care plans conducted by our professional staff include the following:  safety evaluations, assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, dementia care/support as well as consideration of special needs.  

The care plan guides caregivers and care coordinators in providing the best possible support for a client’s situation.  Complex Care cases and Medication Management are supervised by an Oregon Registered Nurse.  SFHS care coordinators stay involved and communicate each individual client’s ongoing needs, progress and changes to physicians, family and members of their care team.

Sinai Family Home Services offers the following:  care coordination, same day service, reliable staff of qualified caregivers, consistent charges no matter what day or time of the day services are needed, ethical and value-driven care, and support through referral to community resources and continuum of care options as the client’s needs change.
